I chose to practice gratitude and measure my happiness; I decided to write three things I am grateful for each day and track my happiness in a journal. To prepare myself, I needed to find a journal in which I could collect my data, but instead of buying a journal, I decided to make one. I designed a page for each day, printed it on thick paper and hand-bound all of the pages together.
