At the end of each day, when I was trying to recall 5 positive things from my day, I sometimes found it hard to actually reach 5. This is because I was focusing too much on what SHOULD be obviously positive (big happy events that happened) — and sometimes I didn’t have those in a day. But then… I expanded my mind to the smaller things. This made me not only able to reach my goal of 5 things, it also made me appreciate my days more consistently.
